Harrowing details of a ‘highly emotional’ 911 call made by a beautiful tech director as her attorney husband allegedly attacked her have been unearthed by the Daily Mail.

Caitlin Walch Tracey, 36, known to her friends as ‘CT,’ told police to ‘please hurry’ as her partner, Adam P Beckerink, 46, launched a horrific assault at her New Buffalo, Michigan, home on January 13, 2024, according to prosecutors.

New police reports describe officers finding her with cuts on her lip and ‘red markings’ all over her face and body ‘from being kicked’ that evening.

Court documents also detail how Beckerink allegedly stole $45,000 worth of jewelry and designer accessories from his wife during her final days, and that he led police on a crazed multi-state manhunt after one alleged assault.

Nine months after the first 911 call, Tracey was found ‘pulverized’ and missing a foot in the stairwell of the high-flying lawyer’s luxury Chicago skyscraper.

Beckerink is due to face trial for domestic violence against Tracey, who was the Chief People Officer at a Chicago AI firm called Nousot, but he has not been charged in connection with her death. He has denied all charges.

Since Tracey is not around to testify, her story is being heard through a patchwork of evidence, including transcripts of emergency calls she made during her final months, videos of her interviews with detectives, and statements from witnesses.

The Daily Mail has unearthed a tranche of new court documents and police reports which tell pieces of this story.

Police reports show that on January 13, 2024, Berrien County cops were dispatched to Tracey’s four-bedroom home on Marx Drive, close to the banks of Lake Michigan after she made a frenzied 911 call around 8:30 pm.

Tracey ‘was in a highly emotional state’ and told the dispatcher to ‘please hurry.’ She said that Beckerink was ‘drunk’ and that he had ‘pushed her down.’

‘He’s assaulted me before,’ Tracey said during the phone call, before it became ‘unintelligible’ due to her ‘emotional state,’ according to the report.

Responders said they heard her asking ‘Adam’ to ‘just leave’ before warning that she was going to ‘lock the door.’

When two officers arrived at her home, Beckerink had fled to Chicago in a white Range Rover, and Tracey was left covered in injuries, including ‘a mark on her lip, a scar on her right forearm, and several cuts on her body.’

She told them that her husband had tried to stop her from calling police by grabbing her phone and pushing her to the ground.

Tracey also told police that day marked the first time that Beckerink had been back at her home after being in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse.

The violence came after an argument, during which her husband began ‘grabbing some of her belongings’, she said.

Beckerink is accused of stealing Tracey’s designer watch, handbag, earrings and cash totaling $45,315, along with credit cards. The items included a 14-karat diamond tennis bracelet worth $16,500, a $12,000 black-and-gold Chanel leather handbag (a similar bag is pictured left), and a $10,200 Cartier Tank Louis Watch (the same watch is pictured right)

He was later charged with larceny for allegedly stealing her designer watch, handbag, earrings and cash totaling $45,315, along with credit cards.

The items included a 14-karat diamond tennis bracelet worth $16,500, a $12,000 black-and-gold Chanel leather handbag, a $10,200 Cartier Tank Louis Watch, $6,095 diamond hoop earrings, and $520 in cash.

Police did not track Beckerink down that night, but he led them on a wild manhunt across state borders.

According to the report, Tracey texted the duty officer’s phone just before 2 am, warning them that Beckerink had left her a voice message and he was ‘still around’.

Berrien County police said Beckerink told her he had ‘left Michigan to get out of our jurisdiction and was in Indiana by some motel hiding between two large trucks so the cops can’t find him.’

It’s unclear whether he handed himself in, or if cops from another jurisdiction tracked him down. He was placed under a domestic violence warrant.

Tracey made another frantic call to Berrien County cops on August 19, 2024, around 8:30 pm. Police said the call dropped, but dispatchers could hear ‘yelling and commotion prior to the hang-up.’

Officer Nathan Voytovick, who also responded to the January call, recalled how he found the front door ajar when he arrived at Tracey’s home for the second time.

He pushed it open a few inches and yelled ‘police department’ several times but didn’t get a response. While instructing another officer to ‘watch the back door,’ he leaned in through the front entrance.

‘I could hear muffled screams and began yelling and announcing myself,’ Voytovick wrote in his report about the incident.

‘I could clearly hear a female struggling and rushed in. The female, Caitlin Tracey, was on her stomach crying and I had the male, Adam Beckerink at taser point as he refused to get on the ground.

‘Eventually Beckerink laid on the ground but refused to put his arms behind his back, constantly pulling away.’

Beckerink was so belligerent that Voytovick called for backup. He said a group of officers detained him and forced him into the police car.

‘Four of us straggled to get Adam out of the house,’ he wrote in the report. ‘We eventually got him to the car and as I tried to get him in and empty his pockets, he kicked my chest and left wrist, causing it to hurt.’

As his colleagues removed Beckerink from the scene, Voytovick spoke with Tracey who told him that Beckerink ‘came at her’ after an argument and the violence escalated.

Voytovick offered her medical attention, which she refused, and gave her a domestic violence pamphlet before leaving.

Beckerink’s rap sheet shows that he was charged with assaulting Officer Voytovick.

He is also accused of assault and battery against his wife, and of trying to intercept her emergency call.

A little over two months later, Tracey was dead.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office described her cause of death as ‘multiple injuries’ after falling approximately 24 floors at Beckerink’s condo.

Tracey’s autopsy report, obtained by the Daily Mail, details the horrific injuries she suffered on October 27, 2024.

The report states that Tracey’s lower leg was severed during the fall. Investigators found her foot on the second floor, and her body on the fifth.

Cocaine and tadalafil – which is primarily used to treat male erectile dysfunction -were also found in Tracey’s system, raising even more questions about what happened during her final hours.

Tracey suffered ‘multiple skull fractures’ and a ‘deep gaping laceration’ on the back of her head, which was so deep that ‘cranial content’ was exposed, the report says.

Her face and neck were covered in cuts and dark bruises, and her nose was badly broken. Several of her internal organs were sliced by the fall.

She also suffered an 11-inch laceration on her torso, and the coroner noted a 12-by-10-inch area of intense ‘black and brown abrasions’ on her back.

Beckerink will appear in Berrien County Court in Michigan for a procedural hearing on Monday on a contempt of court charge for allegedly violating his bond.

He is subject to a court-ordered 24/7 curfew and monitoring for alcohol and drug use.

The judge said Beckerink failed a drug test and Chicago Police were called to his apartment in May 2025 because he was intoxicated and harassing an employee at his condo building.

The dossier unearthed this week by the Daily Mail also includes documents from his lawyers as they tried to suppress evidence from the trial, including a video of Tracey detailing the alleged domestic abuse in an interview with detectives.

Judge Gary Bruce ruled against this, meaning jurors will be shown the video.

Tracey’s heartbroken parents, retired real estate developer Andrew Tracey, 69, and her college professor mother Dr Monica Tracey, 65, have been attending his preliminary hearings.

They previously fought against Beckerink for custody of their daughter’s remains.

Beckerink, a former partner of international law firm Duane Morris who had been married to Tracey for six months, argued that he had the rights to her body as the surviving spouse.

But her family hit back, as shown in court documents obtained by the Daily Mail which Tracey’s parents filed on November 6.

The filing accused Beckerink of wreaking a ‘campaign of abuse and terror’ against their daughter during her final months, including allegedly throwing a glass pickle jar at her head and pouring vodka on her wounds.

According to Tracey’s parents, their daughter had been in a relationship with Beckerink from October 2022 until September 2023, but the couple never lived together or had children.

At some point after September, they got back together and married in a private ceremony on April 8, 2024, which did not involve any of Tracey’s relatives.

Amid the acrimonious wrangling for control of her body, her parents accused Beckerink of ‘manipulating’ their daughter, of ‘purposefully isolating her from her family’ and being responsible for her ‘tragic and highly suspicious death.’

To support their argument, the Michigan-based family presented a since-rescinded petition Tracey made to Cook County Court, a year before she died, in a desperate attempt to obtain a restraining order against her husband.

In her October 4, 2023 filing, Tracey detailed three examples of horrific alleged attacks by the tax attorney.

Tracey said that on July 11, 2023 around 3 pm, Beckerink stripped her naked and attacked her at her Michigan home, where her parents said she lived to be close to them and away from her partner.

‘(Beckerink) physically abused me by throwing a pickle jar, which struck me on my head, punching me, pushing me, pulling my hair, dragging me by my clothes, and stripping me out of my clothes,’ Tracey wrote in the petition seen by the Daily Mail.

‘(He) also poured Vodka on my body, which burned my wounds, and would motion as if he was going to hit me with the alcohol bottle.’

She said she managed to escape on foot, before her husband later took her to hospital for treatment to an ‘open head wound.’

Tracey’s story will be heard in Berrien County Court as Beckerink’s case unfolds later this year. A date for the start of his trial has not yet been set.
